First Day

Today I had my first real day at Michaels. I scanned tags almost the whole shift, which was fine, and learned a few things. I guess most of these people think I don't have a retail background (which I have an extra large retail background) because I feel like they assume I don't know anything about the business. Also, I've worked for Michaels before. haha So it was a little frusterating but I just smiled and went with it. Good employee. Good.

So, I bought some clay while I was at work. I only bought black and white because I wanted to expiriment. I really like it. A lot. I already made 3 little things out of clay and they look great, I think. Pretty freakin' adorable, if I do say so myself. This is what I have come up with so far.

I plan on buying more clay tomorrow because I am enjoying it so much. Also, when I get paid, I plan on buying some actual clay tools so I can really focus on detail.
