Oh Happy Day!

I may have scored my job at Michael's. I had my interview today. The manager really likes me. I just hope I'm able to be rehired. haha 25% discount! YES! :D

I've been painting! I'm looking forward to my aanraku bails! I'm so ready for them. I have 6 tiny pieces of art waiting to be stuck to a pendant. :) The picture to the left is a little sneak of what is coming to my Etsy shop. :) Trees, flowers, grapes, abstract stuff. Cliche, but hey, it's something, right? And ya know... even if it is cliche, it's still one of a kind and still completely my own. No one else can paint what I paint. haha

Anywho, I'm going to celebrate by applying to some state jobs now. Wish me luck!

Great Weekend

I had a great weekend spent with my sweet boyfriend Ian. We sat inside and watched ridiculously horrible movies. :) It was amazing.

It was a nice break from constantly creating new things to post on etsy, but now I think I've come up with a few new good ideas. I've started to hand paint some pictures onto wood tiles. I'm wondering if they will do any better than the prints.

I've also ordered some aanraku bails from etsy. They are being shipped tomorrow. I'm pretty stoked about this because I'm beginning to think maybe that people don't like the idea of my "hand drilling" through the pendants. I like how it looks. I think it's modern. But maybe it's distracting. Hmm.

Anywho. Back to the artsy grind. :D
